Amaze
Flatlanders have no alpenglow,
No tall peaks with sparking snow,
No deep crevasses filled with trees,
No steeps with eagles flying free.
But there are blue tides that roll,
Forests plenty in which to stroll,
Blinding sunsets of rose and gold,
A bank of memories to behold.
