Piffle ...

Today's word is "piffle" ... nonsense, as trivial or senseless talk.

Blah
Do I really need to listen,
To the silly words they say?
All the crazy piffle,
That goes around each day?

I'd rather listen closely,
To the words in my own head,
Or hide under my pillow,
In the quiet of my bed.
